Pizza is everyone’s favorite comfort food and dinner to gather the family together. This time we made our Keto pizza with a broccoli crust! We have made pizza crust using alternative flour in our Crunchy Keto Pizza and we got creative with our Keto Pizza with Chicken Crust. But this time we subbed a hearty vegetable to use as our crust base! You will love the flavor and crust-like texture of this pizza!

Remember the fun of pizza is the creative freedom behind the toppings! We used a perfect combination of blue cheese, prosciutto, handful of arugula and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. Start with our broccoli crust base and get the family together to build their favorite pizza. And of course, you can feed the family with our Keto Pizza with Broccoli Crust without having to spend more than $10! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough
  • 350/400 gr Steamed broccoli

  • 2 Eggs

  • 50 gr Grated parmesan

  • 125 gr Grated mozzarella

  • 1⁄2 tsp Granulated garlic

  • 1⁄2 tsp Dried oregano

  • Pizza Toppings
  • 100 gr Tomato puree

  • 100 gr Blue cheese

  • 50/80 gr Sliced prosciutto

  • A handful of arugula

  • Balsamic vinegar can be added before serving

Directions

  • Get a round baking tray, cover it with baking paper and preheat the oven to 400F
  • Blend all steamed broccoli in the food processor until the mixture becomes smooth and consistent.
  • Transfer the broccoli to a bowl and mix them with all other ingredients – eggs, grated parmesan, grated mozzarella, granulated garlic and oregano.
  • Have your baking tray ready with a sheet of baking paper on it and spread the dough well.
  • Bake it for 10-12 min on 400F then leave it to cool.
  • Get a layer of tomato puree and blue cheese on your dough, then let it heat up in the oven
    for a couple of minutes.
  • Once the cheese is melted you can add prosciutto, arugula, a splash of balsamic
    vinegar and the pizza is ready to be served.keto pizza broccoli crust

Notes

  • When making this crust, it is normal to have a lot of excess liquid appear as you begin to mix all the ingredients together. Use a strainer or just scoop out your mixture on to the baking tray.
