Ingredients

  • Turkey
  • 900 gr Turkey breast

  • 60 gr Butter

  • 2 cloves Garlic

  • 1 tsp Dried thyme

  • 1 tsp Dried rosemary

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1 / 2 tsp Black pepper

  • Gravy
  • 120 ml Chicken broth

  • 1/4 tsp Xanthan gum

  • 1 head Onion

  • The fat from the roasted turkey

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 375F and prepare a baking tray with a lid.
  • Take a bowl and mix all dry ingredients (dried thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper) with the butter and garlic.
  • Prepare the meat by drying the turkey breasts well and cover them with the flavored oil.
  • Place the seasoned meat in a pan, cover it with a lid and roast it in a preheated oven at 375F for 45 minutes. Remove the lid and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Remove the finished meat from the oven and let it cool.
  • Prepare the gravy sauce by removing the excess fat from the roasted turkey breast.
  • Heat up the turkey fat in a saucepan and fry the onion in it until it becomes slightly transparent.
  • Add the other ingredients- xanthan gum and chicken broth then stir it well until you get a thick sauce.
  • Serve the turkey breasts topped with gravy sauce and a fresh salad to the side.keto turkey roasted
