What the heck is a schnitzel?! It is a german word diminutive of sniz, or in English “slice.” So nowadays, schnitzel is most commonly known as a slice of meat, usually breaded. We made our Keto Schnitzel with tender turkey and breaded this slice of meat with flavorful, gluten-free home-made breading.

Our Keto Turkey Schnitzel is crunchy and tasty on the outside with tender and juicy turkey meat on the inside. We drizzled our homemade tangy dill sauce for the perfect bite. Enjoy the Turkey Schnitzel with your whole family without spending more than $10!

Ingredients

  • 650 gr Turkey cutlet – 4 pcs.

  • 60 gr Grated parmesan

  • 30 gr Almond flour

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 tsp Garlic granules

  • 1 tsp Black pepper

  • 55 gr Cooking butter

  • Sauce
  • 100 gr Mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

Directions

  • We start the preparation of the schnitzel by drying the meat. Take two bowls – one to stir the eggs and another one for all dry ingredients – parmesan, almond flour, garlic granules and black pepper.
  • Dip the dried cutlets first in the beaten egg, drain well and cover them with the dry ingredients.
  • Heat up a large frying pan and melt the butter in it. Put the meat in the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown then remove from the hob.
  • Before serving you need to prepare the sauce by mixing mayonnaise and mustard until smooth.
  • Serve the schnitzels warm with the mustard sauce and a slice of lemon.keto turkey schnitzel
