Keto bread? Is that a thing? Keto lifestyle calls for low-carb and of course the first thing everyone cuts out (but doesn’t want to) is bread. However, there is a way to have your bread and cut your carbs too!

Our mini keto bread loaves are gluten free AND low carb but taste just like the bread you miss so badly. We made these mini keto bread loaves with almond flour and psyllium husk powder. This fiber-forward plant powder is the perfect solution for a keto-friendly diet. Our Keto Pasta Tagliatelle is a great example!

Ingredients

  • 140 gr Almond flour

  • 50 gr Psyllium husk powder

  • 3 Egg whites

  • 2 tsp Baking powder

  • 240 ml Hot water

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 2 tbsp Black sesame seeds

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • In a big bowl mix the dry ingredients – almond flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder and salt. Mix well.
  • Add the egg whites and hot water to the mixture while stirring.
  • Once the mixture is ready, knead the dough and separate into 6 equal parts. Oil your hands and shape small loaves.
  • Transfer the loaves onto a paper lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and bake at 350F for 50-60 minutes.
  • Once the loaves are ready, let them cool and serve with cream cheese or any other spread.keto mini bread loaf
