minutesSince a keto lifestyle calls for low carb, low sugar, hight fat, alcoholic drinks do not fit very well in that regimen. The average beer is loaded with unwanted carbs, and mixed drinks have a lot of added sugar and sweeteners. However, that does not mean you can’t enjoy an adult beverage on occasion, you just need to be smart on your mix-ins!
Avoiding sugar is the biggest challenge when making cocktails. Our mojito cocktail uses Monk fruit sweetener as a mix-in and granulated erythritol to rim the glass. Flavored with fresh lime and mint, this cocktail is perfect for any occasion. Our recipe makes for drinks but double (or triple) measurements for a party! Cheers!
Rum – 60ml. (240 ml for 4 servings)
Soda water – 80ml. (320 ml. For 4 servings)
Fresh lime – 1 pc. cut into quarters (4 for 4 cocktails)
Monk fruit sweetener – 1 tsp. (4 teaspoons per cocktail)
Fresh mint leaves – about 30 leaves.
Ice
Granulated erythritol for cup’s rim
